| Customer Reviews: Great Watch July 16, 2008 Jorge E. Mejia (San Francisco, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I spent a great deal of time looking for a watch that was under $200, well built and good looking. I finally found the SNQ075 at a watch retailer in the mall, but it was selling for $270. I went home looked on the web and found it on Amazon for $100 cheaper, so I bought it instantly. When I got it I was extremely pleased with the overall construction, appearance and quality of this watch. It's a Seiko, so if I take care of it it'll last for a long time. I'm really pleased with the low profile clasp and closure. It makes the watch band look as if it was a continuous bracelet. It's a simple yet elegant watch. I recommend this watch for someone who wants a very good watch and isn't looking for anything super fancy.
Great watch for casual use June 27, 2010 Scott Scothorn 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'd like to say if you don't wear your watch doing yard work or other types of work it is great. I never take my watch off for any reason. I wear it working in the yard, office, and everywhere else. I am hard on watches. The first problem I have with this watch is the crystal is not nearly as hard as a sapphire crystal. Mine has 6 noticeable scratches on it. One day I pulled the pin out to adjust the time and when I pushed it back, the watch never started back up again. I could tell it didn't feel right like something slipped or got out of place. I sent it in to coserv who fixed that. Three months later the date field is stuck in between 2 numbers all the time so I can't tell what date it is. I will be sending it back in to coserv.
If you only wear your watch to the office or out and about, this is a great watch. If you never take your watch off, this is not recommended.
PROS: Classic look, perpetual calendar, nice stainless case and band, fairly light weight, 3 year warranty
Cons: Crystal scratches, night illumination is very poor, durability is poor.
